ROCKHARBOR was started with the heartbeat that the volunteers would run the church and there are so many ways for you to play a part in writing our story. Serve Teams are one of the best entry points into finding family at RHF. Whether you are greeting at a door or helping with the production of our weekend services, you will not only find a place to belong, but a family as well.
If you’re new to RHF or if you’ve called it home for some time, we challenge you to join one of these teams and use the unique gifts that God has given you. Below is a list of our serve teams with information on how to get involved.
Every person matters every step of the way.
We really believe that. And we try our best to serve our church from the moment people drive up to our campuses to park, and walk in to find their seats. It is a tall order, to help everyone feel welcome and part of our church family. But we feel it is a worthy order…and ask for anyone with this heart or with a hospitable charm to get involved with this ministry.
The Front Door teams provide a variety of opportunities to serve our church:
Set Up | Tear Down Team
This is an integral part of our campus weekend services. It takes a crew of dedicated people who are willing to set up and tear down each weekend for our services.
Be one of the first to greet our family and guests with a smiling face as they come to services on the weekend. Help them find parking spaces and get into our services safely.
Help welcome, inform, and greet each person with a warm hello, handshake, and smile.
Ushers help people find people seats, facilitate worship through corporate giving, and organize our service locations.
If you consider yourself outgoing and love connecting with people, consider joining our connect team. This team is designed to help people find connection into RHF by managing the resource desk before and after weekend celebration services.

Each weekend, RHF gathers to worship God. As we celebrate through music, creative arts, opening God’s Word, and praying together, the Production Team is charged with creating a distraction-free environment that allows people to learn from God’s Word and encounter God through the Holy Spirit.
The Production Team is a major part of the look, feel and sound of RHF. They ensure that everything is seen and heard by everyone in every room. They help facilitate a worshiping and learning environment in the following ways:
From atmosphere and drama to creating an environment that fosters reverence during worship, the Lighting Team enhances RHF’s Celebration Services and events through the creative [and practical] medium of lights.
The Lyrics Team is a behind-the-scenes extension of the worship team. This team prepares song lyrics for each service/event at which they are needed, and follows the worship team’s lead to enable every person to participate in worship.
The Sound Team strives to provide RHF’s Celebration Services and events with excellence in sound. The goal is to deliver and record music and messages clearly and accurately, without distracting people.
The Technical Video Team works with the creative video team to document all RHF services and events.
